Refit and new builds in NL

There is a big difference between a new build/refit yacht and a yacht in season. The biggest difference is that the yachts want to keep the costs as low as possible against good quality food. Most yachts are getting the instruction to go shopping by themselves to cut the provisioner out and save cost.

However, when you shop by yourself you don’t get access to the producers first-hand. So, you get products further down the supply channel who are older.  When you use a provisioner you can rely on long expiry dates, freshest products and able to get it packed by the way you want it and delivered to your doorstep. The products last longer what results in less shopping and more time to spend on board.

At We Supply Yachts we understand this more than others, so we have developed a crew line to supply yachts during their new build and refit against a very good price. When you go with the seasons the products are more economical compared to get products from outside the country. And of course, we have daily imports going on.  E.g. with fish, when you use fish that is in season, these prices are way batter than fish that is not in season in Holland and beside that fillets are less meaty as they are spawning.

We supply on weekly base to the shipyards in Holland to make the life of the chef easier. Our crew food contains good quality food against very good pricing. You can’t go shopping by yourself for that price delivered to your door stop.

As We Supply Yachts we like to share our passion for food with the chefs, we have a special chef programme. We have developed special partnerships with head chefs onboard a range of superyachts. Some have flown to Amsterdam to spend a week in a high-end restaurant learning more about how to prepare specific types of gourmet food. We also visit our suppliers together with the chefs so they know everything about the products and can conjure up new ways to surprise the boss with the nicest food and most exciting presentation.
