At We Supply Yachts we love fruit. It is one the products we are so passionate about. This time we have a nice Dutch product, the Dutch Lambada strawberry.

Lambada Strawberry

The Dutch strawberry season starts early with the lovely Lambada strawberry. You simply couldn’t ask for a finer or tastier fruit. The Lambada is a delicious bonbon straight from nature, bursting with wonderfully sweet juice, with a soft texture that melts in your mouth, and don’t forget, a lovely crown on top

Lambada strawberries are perfect to eat straight out of a bowl, but also perfect to use in beautiful cakes and desserts. For best results make sure you let the strawberries reach room temperature first, then rinse carefully. Once you have tasted the Lambada strawberry, you are immediately sold!

Taste

The Lambada strawberry  is well known because of its excellent taste. The big shiny red strawberry has a very sweet taste and has a nice smooth mouthfeel.

Season

The Lambada is available yearly around mid-February until mid-June. As soon as the Lambada is ready to be picked, the strawberries will be carefully cut on the stem instead of being picked as they do with the other varieties. Then they immediately place the strawberries in the punnets with the greatest care, ready for departure!
